our latest
This weekend we took emma for a little sled ride. I think she really would have enjoyed it had her dad not flipped her over in the snow on her first ride. I think her face says everything!

Amidst the Stress...a little laughter
This last couple of weeks has been CRAZY! This semester is one of the hardest we've had here in Rexburg. Not because school is that hard, we just have sooo much going on! So to keep us sane Dan and I have been loving the "Can I have your number" video from MADD TV. The funny thing is we first saw the video like a month ago, but we can't stop watching it! Any time anyone says "can I have it" or "I love you" the quotes start coming out of us. At least once a day one of us quotes something from that stupid video.
our favorites
"My little croissant, my little cheese croissant" or
"Evon, Evon don't be insecure girl, work that updo!"
"oh oh I get it! ya bein' all selective because you wearin' a PONYTAIL!"
"Esscuse me, can I talk to you for a minute, I said ESSCUE ME, CAN I TALK TO YOU FOR A MINUTE?"
"Oh, I just wanted to let you know The back of your head is RI-DIC-ULUS" "thank you" "YEA, YOU ARE WELCOME!"
"Where's your boyfriend? where's your boyfriend? is he getting you refreshments? is he tall? is he getting you mike and ike's? do you like mike and ike's? is he hefty? is he comin' back? Where's your boyfriend? where's your boyfriend? where's your boyfriend?"
"So LISTEN..Um...Can I have your number? Can I have your number? Can I have it? CAN I, can I have it?"
"Grace Kelly, Grace Kelly, Grace Kelly!"
OK the whole thing is hillarious! If you haven't seen it go check it out.
Just to warn you, there is a little swearing. Sorry
my family loves this video

And then on Saturday we watched the "Pink Panther" movie and we thought it was really funny.
The best part of the movie is when he is working with his speech therapist. He is trying to say hamburger! TOO funny!

Two of a Kind
Dan and his friend Ben Fa'anunu have both been wanting Springfield XD .45's for a long time. Their "dream" finally came true. Dan made me promise to post it on the blog.

Yesterday, Dan went shooting with his good friends Ben, Nathan Cope and Jeff Monson to try out the new guns. Here are some goofy pics of Dan and Ben with their guns.

MOVIN ON
Dan and I have lived in Rexburg for 2 and a half years and we are realizing that a lot of our friends are going to be moving on. I am so thankful for cell phones and blogs.
This week is going to be a very sad one. Donald and Tiffany Jack, Whom we love and have been good friends with for the last 2 years, are on there way out of Rexburg. Donald is graduating this next week and has landed an amazing job as an accountant in Burley Idaho. We've spent many a nights playing games, talking about random stuff, staying up until wee hours of the morning despite their bedtime !), many gospel & personal discussions, root beer floats, tiff's history lessons, photography (tiff is amazing), Christmas in Burley, halloween parties, christmas trees, soccer games(donny is amazing), the bookstore, American Idol, pop ins and the list goes on and on. We will miss it all. When We first met the jacks We had just found out we were pregnant with emma and they brought us sunday dinner because I was so sick! That has been the kind of friends they have been throughout this last 2 years. I feel as though they have become part of our family and I know that we will stay in touch no matter what the distance! We LOVE YOU and We will miss you guys.

This picture was just too funny I had to add it!

And then...our new good friends, the Fa'anunu's, are leaving us as well. We met Ben and Heather Fa'anunu at a ward yard sale! They have been in our ward for over a year but because Ben is in the bishopbric in another ward, we are just getting to know them. We are so glad we finally found eachother! Oh man we have had so much fun with them staying up til 2 am these last couple of months. They share our love of the games boggle, nertz, and sequence. They are really fun and we are going to miss them. Heather is a Social Worker in Idaho Falls, so they have decided to move down there to eliminate commuting. Her knowledge about the Social work field is extensive. She is so funny. Ben is graduating with a degree in Economics. He is one of the greatest guys we know. He is hilarious too. We will miss them but plan on making plenty of trips to Idaho Falls to see them.

Back to moving on
We just had a ward split so we lost a lot of good friends (the Cope's)!
And now...we are moving, which means we are losing other good friends; the Conley's, the Davis', the Otto's, the Eves, the Danielson's and many others including all of our neighbors. We are moving into subsidized housing and our rent is going to be much cheaper. We hope to save some money for next year while we are in Grad School.
We will miss you all and we hope you all will keep intouch.

your emma update
NEW christmas PJ's!

Our first attempt at curlers

My 2 favorite people in the whole world

milkshake anyone???

this picture was taken a while ago, but it was too funny. Emma had this on her cheek for like an hour. My friend, Tiff, got it on my camera for me.

SO I heard that if you cut a mans hair short it makes them look less bald. So I gave Daniel this brilliant idea....but as you can tell from the photo I was wrong! haha (poor danny and his balding head)

HALLOWEEN and OUR LAST 75th WARD ACTIVITY
Our Costumes:
Emma was the cutest boy lion EVER!
Dan and I were.....Luke and Lorelai from Gilmore girls (we went with what we had, but Dan was such a good Luke!)

Our ward halloween party was a lot of fun! Emma loved it except for her hat that she kept taking off. She was definitely the cutest boy lion ever. Dan and I made her costume, we literally got it done 15 min. after the ward party started. Saturday morning I started working on her costume, but there was something weird going on with my sewing machine! All day long I messed with it and finally about 1 hour before the party I gave up on it! Dan and I started stitching the whole thing. I think we did it in record time. It was a little stressful, but I'm just glad we were able to pull it off. As you can tell we didn't have time to finish the bottom part of her hat, but it worked!
The only sad thing about Halloween this year was that our ward boundaries moved and we were kicked out of the ward that we love sooo much. This was our last activity in this ward. We love bishop George and he has been such an amazing support to our family. It is very sad, but almost a little bit like an adventure. Our new bishop seems like an amazing man and i know we will learn many great things from him. One of the hardest parts of leaving the ward was the many great friends we will be leaving behind, but changing wards has never stopped us from keeping in touch with very good friends. We love the 75th ward and will miss you all!
